Making a Purchase
To purchase any of the merchandise available from House of Chesterfields Collection please browse our shop, after you have finished your selection please contact us by phone or email for prices and shipping costs. We will then ask you for your details needed to complete your order. We accept most credit card payments (in shop), Paypal payments or direct deposit into our bank account.
If you are shopping from North America or elsewhere, place your order and Paypal will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
Shipping and Handling
Greek Shipping – we try to keep charges to an absolute minimum. If you are buying from outside Greece we will need to discuss delivery options and charges – please note there will be additional charges involved other than the initial cost of items.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of your order being placed and funds being cleared, providing all items are in stock. We do not send out items on Saturdays or Sundays. Delivery times for shipments abroad are typically 1 – 15 days from receipt and payment of the order. At all times we try to send your order to you as quickly as possible.
Tax Charges
VAT is already included in our prices (unless otherwise stated) for orders made from Greece or the European Union. Delivery outside the EU may be subject to local import charges and taxes which are your responsibility, where they apply.
Payment
Payment can be made in shop by credit card, by Paypal or bank deposit.
Credit Card Security
Your credit card details are handled and processed via Cardlink or Paypal on a secure server (SSL encryption is used).
Quality
Our furniture is handmade using natural materials. As such our leather furniture will have natural marks such as healed scars and barbed wire knicks, which signify genuine leather, and will not have the even and consistent finish appearance and shape found in machined goods made with artificial materials or materials treated in order to achieve that effect. Inevitably there will be minor variations in colour and appearance between items ordered and pieces on display in our showrooms, our samples, and pictures in our brochures, or on our website. You acknowledge that such characteristics and variations are not to be regarded as defects for the purpose of assessing whether or not our furniture is of satisfactory quality or otherwise in accordance with the Order. Changes made to the specification of our furniture due to changes made by our workshop or otherwise, is hereby acceptable provided that the changes do not materially affect the use quality appearance or performance of the furniture.
Guarantees
All furniture carry a minimum 12 to 24 month guarantee against constructional defects. Solid wood frames on sofas and chairs carry up to 25 year guarantee. All leather covering our furniture, unless otherwise stated, is 100% Full Grain leather utilizing the top coat of the raw hide, we do not use bicast leather, split leathers or faux leather on any items of furniture. Certain types of leather carry a Lifetime Guarantee (care of leather on at least a yearly bases, is essential under our umbrella of products and recommendations). Our guarantee covers normal usage only, excluding normal wear, commercial use, defects or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, abnormal use or any external causes. The term Lifetime Guarantee refers to a period of time on average, of two decades (based on previous customers testimonials). For further information please contact us.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek law and you hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Athenian Courts.

House of Chesterfields Collection is a registered trademark owned by Philip Maniski & Company EE and is the sole owner of the information collected on www.chesterfield.gr. Our website collects information from our users at several different points. Other than for specific purposes as agreed with the user such as fulfilling an online enquiry the information that is collected through this site is used for marketing or analysis purposes only.
Analysis
Information gathered through this website will be held in a database at our offices at 61 Mesogeion Street Maroussi 15126 Attica Greece, and is used periodically to assess the success of the website and the actions generated from the levels of traffic generated.
When you request a page from the site’s web server, the server automatically collects some information about your system, including your IP address. House of Chesterfields collects the minimum information necessary to ensure our service works.
Enquiry Form
We ask for information from the user on our enquiry form. Information gathered through this form will be held in a database at our offices and be used periodically to assist in the various marketing activities of House of Chesterfields. We do not currently provide or share your information with other third parties.
Order Form
We ask for information from the user on our order form. As goods are being ordered from our site or in person the user / client must provide us with their name, telephone number, email and delivery address, along with the requested financial information, such as the credit card number and associated details or credit account number to enable us to process the order as requested. This information is used solely for charging/invoicing and to dispatch the order. If we have difficulties processing or fulfilling an order these details are used to contact the user.
If you are using this site to order goods or services, certain information is automatically collected so that an order can be tracked and delivery made to the right user. To aid this order process ‘Cookies’ may be stored on your computer by the browser. Although you can set your browser to disable cookies, you might find some site features will not work.
