This is an antique, Edwardian umbrella-stick stand dating to c1910. Beautifully hand crafted in English oak with an aged patina and a dark, waxed finish, this stick stand carries the label of the renowned Dursley firm of R.A. Lister & Co.The splayed legs rise and encompass a barrel base pan with a pair of brass bands secured with studs. Inside the label reads R.A. Lister & Co Ltd, Makers, England.

Lister & Co.The splayed legs rise and encompass a barrel base pan with a pair of brass bands secured with studs. Inside the label reads “R.A. Lister & Co Ltd, Makers, Dursley, England” The circular top is beautifully turned and joined to the legs, the colour throughout is warm in deep chocolate browns offset by the antique brass strapping.
