Solid hardwood frame traditionally handmade with sprung back and coiled seat and filled with horse hair. Item with some use.  Finished in Full Grain Leather. Hand crafted in England by time served artisans. (LxDxH): 105x90x80cm.

Renovation is not only sound financial practice, it brings older furniture in line with the same stringent fire safety standards that apply to newly manufactured items. With all wooden furniture, whether cabinet or upholstery they are first repaired in the Cabinet Workshop and then ‘finished’ prior to re-upholstery or re-finishing in French polish or modern lacquers.
